Glass Houses

Glass Houses.

Don't sell your soul, spend it.

Take this broken heart, mend it.

Start again, better than you've been

Learn the difference between indulgence and sin.

Recognize that to waste life is theft.

Stop doomsday prepping, goose stepping,

To the right, or the left.

Don’t try to kill time, take it.

Don’t just find love, make it.

Life is not the pursuit of salvation.

It’s a finite glow, a dynamo, of pure motivation.

Try not to be careful, but carefree.

Learn that pain is not a curse, but a luxury.

And when there’s an unraveling in your soul,

Find that loose thread and pull.

Because it’s yours and yours alone.

But true wisdom is earned, never facile.

So as you throw these stones from Glass Houses,

Remember,

They're fragile.
